The gallery program unites diverse international positions and aims at constituting a complex but balanced universe, expressing the diversity of our contemporary society.
Bürobasel
Between 2018 and 2022, Waldburger Wouters had a permanent office and project space in Basel, called “bürobasel”, in cooperation with ShanghART Gallery. Waldburger Wouters remains active in Switzerland, keeping a space in Schönried bei Gstaad.
Brussels
From 2024, the gallery started a new chapter as Wouters Gallery, with Patrick Waldburger retiring from active gallery life and Tim Wouters taking over. Wouters Gallery builds further on its rich past, and continues to support emerging and pioneering artists. It is centrally located in Yser, a vivid neighbourhood in downtown Brussels, not far from St. Cathérine and directly opposite the new Kanal Centre Pompidou Museum.
Sablon
Wouters Gallery is expanding with a second space in Brussels, in the Sablon area, dedicated to self-taught and visionary artists.
The Phone Booth
Since April 2023, Waldburger Wouters has a new location in Switzerland, in Schönried bei Gstaad, which will soon be inaugurated.
Early Years
Founded as Galerie Waldburger in 2009, in 2014 it evolved into Waldburger Wouters gallery, run by Tim Wouters and Patrick Waldburger, a Belgo-Swiss duo.
